How do I sign up now?
Go to the registration page and fill out the registration form. After filling out the registration form, please follow the payment instructions. We accept cash, check or you can pay via credit card securely online. Once we've received your complete registration information, we'll secure your spot for that particular camp.

What about a Pre-Camp Evaluation?
When available, the Pre-Camp Evaluation includes the following (pre-camp evals are NOT always available/scheduled):
1. We will give you an introduction to Boot Camp and answer any questions you may have. We will also discuss any pertinent issues relating to your medical history if need be.
2. We will take a few simple measurements to see where you are prior to beginning camp. We don't care what the measurements show. It's strictly for a post-camp comparison. These numbers and all other information will be held in the strictest confidence.
3. We do not record your weight unless you specifically ask us to.  We do measure your body fat percentage. Again, the numbers don't matter. We just want to be able to measure your improvement. Don't be surprised if you see a 3-5% reduction in your body fat  (or more!) over the four weeks!
4. We can answer any questions you have about your Nutrition Menu Planning options at that time as well.
5. Not every camp includes a scheduled pre-camp evaluation; however, you may request one at any time.    See you at camp!

What do I need to bring to camp?
You will need to bring one set of 5, 8, or 10 lb. hand weights and an exercise mat (preferably a yoga-type mat). You will also want to bring water to keep yourself hydrated during camp. Optional items are a towel to dry off with and gloves during cooler months. Dress in a layered fashion...even if it is chilly, you will get warm very fast!

 

Will I be sore sometimes?
Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is slight to moderate. It's part of the process that lets you improve!

What kinds of people go to camp?
They are people just like you. Someone who needs a little push to jump start their fitness and wellness program. Some exercise experience is needed to ensure your safety and a better flow of class.

Is there a refund policy?
If you are unable to attend camp due to circumstances beyond your control, we may offer you a camp credit if you notify us prior to your session start date. This is at the discretion of your boot camp coach; no exceptions. No cash refunds are given.  Why?  Becuase funds have already been spent in preparing for your attendance.  Again, cash refunds are not given; this is not negotiable.  Refunds are often a convenient excuse for not following through on your fitness commitment; we care too much about your success to provide convenient escape routes. 

What is a typical day like at camp?
That's difficult to say since each day is intentionally different to alleviate boredom. You can expect some running (although some campers never run due to pre-existing conditions), weight training, obstacle courses, core training and jumping rope each week. On special days, we may take a field trip to a different location. It's always an adventure, and you'll always have fun! We teach you a great deal about proper form and "core stability."

How soon will I see results?
Performance improvement can take place in as little as three days. "Visual Improvement" can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level. It's becoming common to see a camper go down 1-2 dresses sizes within the first camp.  We recently had a camper notify us that they needed to buy new shorts after one week because her former clothes were now too big!  Remember, everyone is different; what you put into it, you will take away from it!

What will I do after camp is over?
You can get re-measured and tested to show your progress and success in the program. Many (up to 80%) of the campers return for a second and even third camp.

 

What happens if it rains, or there is inclement weather?
We will still have boot camp at our normal locations and times if it is just sprinkling or lightly raining. If it is a heavy rain that is deemed to be unsafe (we will use our best judgment) or lightning, camp will be cancelled. While this is a rare occurrence, it is for your safety and is a possibility. You will follow the rain date call-in policy to determine if camp is cancelled.  The call-in is updated by 4:50 am so that you have plenty of time to call in.  Do NOT call before that time as the line will not be updated (full details will be included in your welcome packet).  Weather cancellations will not be credited. You are expected to continue with your exercise even if our session is cancelled.  This is something to consider before registering as there are no exceptions to this rule.  We live in Florida and our weather is unpredictable.  We will do our best to keep cancellations at a minimum.   If the weather policy is a concern, we suggest choosing the 3 day/wk option... that way if a day is cancelled, you can simply attend the next day and not worry about losing your invested days - issue resolved!  Yup, that's how we roll.  : )
